NaloxHome Treasurer

Melissa is a fourth year student at the SFU Beedie School of Business. Her previous accounting experiences include being the bookkeeper for Inlet Skating Club, a Port Moody non-profit, where she handled the payroll, receipts, expenses, bank statements, and assisted the treasurer in event budgeting and financial statement creation. As well, she worked at KPMG as an audit intern examining a variety of companies’ in the energy sectors financial statements and assisted in creating quarterly assurance statements. She truly believes in the power of education in tackling the stigma around substances. It takes a unanimous effort built on open conversation, knowledge, and empathy to battle against a public crisis, like BC’s overdose one. She would love to utilize the skills she’s learned through school and work to become a part of the amazing team and the work that NaloxHome does.
