Access for All
What are we?
Access for All is a youth-led, community-based program of NaloxHome Society. We provide naloxone and overdose awareness education that is tailored to the cultures and languages of newcomer communities in the Lower Mainland. Our approach is free of stigma and shaped by input from cultural and faith leaders, healthcare workers, and people with lived experience.

Who are we?
Raj Saini and Nicholas Tjandra started Access for All in 2025. As founders and co-leads, they saw that newcomer communities had no free, culturally sensitive harm reduction education, even as overdose deaths increased.
We started Access for All because newcomer communities are increasingly affected by the overdose crisis but often do not get the support, they need from mainstream education. Language barriers, stigma, misinformation, and the belief that it “doesn’t happen here” can stop people from learning about naloxone, recognizing overdose signs, and knowing how to respond. Resources that are not tailored can make people feel left out instead of included. We seek to bridge this gap!
What do we do?
We offer the following services by invitation from communities across the Lower Mainland:
- 1
Workshops (interactive, culturally sensitive naloxone + overdose response training)
- 2
Community tabling at trusted places like community centres, workplaces, festivals, religious institutions, and other places of invitation.
- 3
Educational materials and videos in multiple languages.

Who do we serve?
We currently focus on newcomer communities, including:
- South Asian communities speaking.
Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu - Arabic-speaking communities.
- East Asian communities speaking.
Mandarin and Cantonese
We are working to reach even more communities in the Lower Mainland!
