Some of you may recognize Brandon because he served the Tri Cities community well by working for the City of Coquitlam for many years. Brandon is an expert in supporting youth and their families challenged by social determinants of health. Brandon lives in Edmonton, Alberta with his young and growing family while working for the Edmonton Chamber of Voluntary Organizations. He continues to be an advocate and ally for marginalized communities.

Melissa is a fourth year student at the SFU Beedie School of Business. She truly believes in the power of education in tackling the stigma around substances. It takes a unanimous effort built on open conversation, knowledge, and empathy to battle against a public crisis, like BC’s overdose one. She would love to utilize the skills she’s learned throughout her schooling and work to become a part of the amazing team and the work that NaloxHome does.

Tisha Scoffins, BA
Tisha is a BC resident who cares greatly about the ongoing opioid crisis. Her advocacy and commitment to changing our understanding of substance use and the toxic drug supply is seen throughout our work at NaloxHome. She is the one who keeps the Board of Directors ticking by managing our agency administration duties and developing policy and procedure.

Angeza Mohammed
Angeza is a mom first, and the founder of The Consulting Nest second. She has worked in the health system for the past 13+ years focusing on population health, public health, health equity, diversity, risk management, integrated risk management, policy, communicable disease, harm reduction and the overdose crisis.
Angeza is excited to join the NaloxHome Board of Directors as she believes that educating youth about harm reduction is critical in responding to the current Overdose Crisis in a supportive, educated and progressive way.

Kim Dumore
Kim Dumore is a passionate advocate for harm reduction, substance use education, and youth wellness. Serving her second term as a School Trustee in SD42 (Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows), Kim combines grassroots leadership with policy-level impact to champion mental health supports and equitable education.
She is a Project Coordinator at Foundry Ridge Meadows, where she leads initiatives that center youth voices in wellness and community development. Previously, as the Community Action Table Coordinator, Kim collaborated with individuals with lived and living experience, service providers, and families to reduce stigma and promote compassionate responses to the opioid crisis—efforts that helped secure a youth-safe house in Maple Ridge. Kim’s commitment to systems change extends to the provincial level, where she helped develop the One Province, One Plan report through the BCSTA working group. She continues to advocate for stronger, non-judgmental substance use curricula in schools and was instrumental in making SD42 the first district in B.C. to implement an Opioid Education Response Report, including Naloxone training for all students by Grade 10.
Known for her collaborative spirit and unwavering dedication, Kim brings lived experience, deep empathy, and bold advocacy to every table she sits at.

Roxanne Saxon, Artist Extraordinaire
Roxanne is the talent behind our advocacy work. She is the one who brings allied not-for-profits together through advocacy awareness events like Black Balloon Day and April 14th. Roxanne firmly believes that we can break down stigma surrounding complex mental health and substance use through artistic expression. Sometimes words don’t work, but art is a universal language.

Sean Mackey-Simpkin, BA
Sean is the newest member of our Executive team and highly sought after for his skill set and knowledge of addictions and substance use. Sean lives in Calgary, Alberta and is THE Addictions Specialist of Wood’s Homes, one of Alberta’s leading mental health agencies. Sean works on Wood’s Homes Street Youth Services Department where he provides client-centric and strength-based counselling for those struggling with addiction issues and substance abuse.

Karanpreet is a nonprofit leader, founder, and board advisor with nearly a decade of experience supporting community-driven organizations across British Columbia. Her work focuses on strengthening governance, building trauma-informed systems, and centring lived and living experience in leadership.
Rooted in values of equity, care, and collective well-being, Karan is honoured to support NaloxHome’s peer-led, youth-driven approach to harm reduction.

Chloe Goodison
Chloe Goodison is the Founder and ED of NaloxHome. A student at SFU in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Chloe is pursuing her BSc. with a Certificate of Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Chloe founded NaloxHome using her lifelong passions for health equity and a desire to intervene in BC’s ongoing overdose crisis with accessible, low-barrier change. Chloe has received numerous accolades for her work, including BC Business 30 Under 30, Surrey Board of Trade 25 Under 25, “Volunteer of the Year” at City of Port Coquitlam and SHARE Family & Community Services.

Jaiden Potter attends Simon Fraser University where she is pursuing a BSc. in Health Sciences. At NaloxHome Society, Jaiden is in charge of maintaining order of expenses, reimbursements, and monthly financial statements. As well, Jaiden has official signing authority on NaloxHome transactions and contributes to major grant applications. Jaiden has been with NaloxHome since day one!

Alex Hinrichs attends Simon Fraser University, where she is pursuing a BA in Political Science (Honours). As VP Internal, Alex is responsible for scheduling all our presentations in school and ensuring our volunteers attend. Alex is also our mastermind behind planning team socials!
